I love to enjoy a smoothie in the morning as I am getting ready for the day. This vibrant pink color fruit is packed with healthy benefits and blends easily with simple ingredients.

What is Dragon Fruit?

Dragon fruit has a bright pink texture and may also be known as pitaya, pitahaya, and strawberry pear. It has a unique melon or kiwi taste that is loaded with antioxidants, nutrients, and prebiotics.

This Dragon Fruit is a tropical fruit that is native to Central America and Southern Mexico. You may find it fresh in your grocery store or packaged frozen.

  • Step 1 – In a blender, combine the frozen dragon fruit, sliced banana, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, honey, lime juice, and vanilla extract.
